help!! why have i got so much stuff to take?! and the aboves probably not all of it either. any suggestions on what not to take and what are the necessary essentials most appreciated from all your seasoned travellers out there.
now happily settled in the lovely parents home in st albans, where it looks set to be a quiet life in the week, with mad weekends visiting people till i go.
sadly it hasn't all been idyllic, in fact i have been worrying about a lot for a while now - about missing people, about getting ill when no-one else is around and there are no home comforts, about leaving my 94 year old granny behind, about missing christmas with my wonderful mum, about not having enough money... clearly far too much time for thinking. so i'm hoping i start to sleep better and get lots more excited very soon. i am waiting for some calm before the real adventure starts.

To be honnest Yes you will miss everyone and everything but you will be having a ball and you will be meeting new people and seeing lots of new things along the way. Christmas happens in Australia ask Amanda and Adele. Re packing put all that you want on the bed and then 1/2 it and then take out more make sure you have some cloths that are easy wash, easy care and that are suitiable for where you will be, take 1 nice outfit and remember that you can get almost everything where ever you go remember you have to carry it Adele took far 2 much and we only brought it back unused Love Leanne x

lol it all looks good - believe me i would have like my entire life if i were leaving for that amount of time - the scarry thought is that techinaclly if i do leave to do DNA i am gonna have to pack light - not good thoughts not good thoughts - i might have to come back every month just to change my clothes! lol
i am sure u will miss people but we will all miss u so u wont be alone! when you come back we will have huge parties to say hello again and then we might have to chain you to the floor so that you dont leave again for a long time but maybe not! lol
